Arlington’s Letters to Santa Are On Their Way

Rachael Toman, Conservation and Interpretation Manager for the Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation, reports that the mailbox located at Gulf Branch Nature Center is stuffed with letters from Arlington children for Santa.

She reports that some of the letters include a long list of desired presents, while a couple of other letters included only one item. Another writer declared she would be happy with whatever Santa brings. Some of the letters assure Santa they have been “very good” this year while others comment they have been “sort of” good.

One letter told Santa he was sure to remember the family from last year and included a photo. These letters are on their way, sent special delivery to the North Pole on Dec. 14.
