Lorrie Herman’s watercolor, “Le Fountaine Bleu,” was on display, Oct. 3-5, at the Vale Schoolhouse in Oakton during ValeArts’ 19th annual fall art show, “Transitions.” Herman, of Chantilly’s Poplar Tree Estates community, was also featured recently in the Virginia Watercolor Society’s annual show at the Lynchburg Academy of Art. Her work was one of 100 paintings accepted out of 800 submitted for that show.
