Firefighters from the City of Fairfax’s Volunteer Fire Department battle it out with other neighboring departments during the "Lay-a-Line" competition in which they shoot their fire hoses through a target – and spray the crowd - during the City of Fairfax’s annual Old-Fashioned Fireman’s Day event on July 4.
