The Mount Vernon Evening Lions planted trees at Collingwood Park on Nov. 4. Fourteen Lions and friends helped plant 36 trees — oaks, dogwoods and red buds — which were given to them by Fairfax Releaf, Inc. The Lions Club worked with Fairfax County Park Authority to find the location to plant the trees.
