Talib Aleem of Reston knows what he’s doing on the ice: Aside from having earned a Ph. D. in Computer Sciences and having taught at George Washington University, Aleem is also trapeze artist and medaled professional figure skater and skating instructor. Aleem was enjoying some practice time at the Reston Town Center Skating Pavilion, but could be seen offering a bit of advice here and there, and occasionally helping a “downed” skater back to their feet.
