Republican campaign volunteers Alan Gersman and Tony Lowstuter had help from Gersman’s service dog Charlie on election day at Hunters Woods Elementary in Reston. Regardless of their political views, most voters couldn’t keep themselves from wishing Charlie a good morning. Gersman is a first time volunteer. Lowstuter, who is moving towards supporting Trump, says he’s “tired of the dynasties” in politics. “And the attitude of ‘what’s in it for me’,” he added. “We have totally reversed from Pres. Kennedy’s ‘Ask not what your country can do for you.’ It is time to make our country great again.”
